I recently graduated from Bowdoin College as a Religion major with a minor in Film and I’m now a grad student at the University of Chicago Divinity School, pursuing a Masters in the History of Christianity. I’m currently applying to the PhD program at the University of Chicago, hopefully all will go well and the next update to this page will involve me winning a MacArthur Grant. Otherwise, I’ll have to get a job and that will suck.
I used to be in a comedy group, Ironic T-shirt. Everything about us is amazing. Plus we’re on youtube! Almost everything we have ever done is now online.
I’m the recently retired Social Captain (self-declared) for the Bowdoin Stoned Clown Ultimate team. Now I am old and fat. We kicked ass (and hopefully they will continue to do so). To prove it I made a highlight video of our 2005 Div. II Club Regional Championship run (I apologize in advance for the fact that it’s a shitty low-res version and for the dramatic lack of me in the video as I was the one filming most of it). I went on to Captain/Coach the U. Chicago B-Team to their best record in history. After running out of eligibility, I moved into the coed club scene and played for Just Liquor. We managed to get to regionals in our first year of existence, beating the team which cut all of us earlier in the summer, so that was pretty sweet. Now, I’m basically helping out with the B-team and getting fat.
In addition to all that good stuff I worked as a web designer/actionscript programmer for Bowdoin over the 4 summers of undergrad and built a number of different projects. I have written basically all the hard code, as in non-aesthetic content, for these pages:

and Bowdoin’s Frontpage News scroller (prototype & final version)
My final project was a flash-based GIS interface. A prototype version, which I created last year, is located here. The new version is currently not hosted online but is basically a streamlined version of above with different data/maps to go with it. Finally, I created, and failed to update regularly, the Stoned Clown website linked above. There’s a bunch more stuff, mostly test files, I’ve created sprinkled throughout this directory.
